Four more podcasts enter the ring

The Alberta Podcast Network, powered by ATB, is growing again! Today we welcome four more podcasts into the fold:

Best Wrestling Podcast is our first foray into "sports entertainment," aka professional wrestling. Johnathan McDonald and Matt Fitzgerald explore WWE, wrestling nostalgia, the regional circuit and more on their twice-weekly show. If you enjoy The 4th Line's occasional departures from hockey talk, you'll like this one, too.

City of Champions is Shane Fennessey's weekly interview show with interesting people doing exceptional things in Edmonton. Shane has a great eye and ear for a good story, and we're looking forward to helping him bring these stories to even more people. A nice companion piece from our current slate would be Let's Find Out, which looks at Edmonton's past.

The Networkers Quest sees Matt and Collette Fitzgerald sharing their own entrepreneurial journey by doing interviews with leaders who have overcome adversity to create greatness. And yes, that's the same Matt who does the wrestling podcast — a man of many tastes and talents! If you draw inspiration from A Branded World, Girl Tries Life or That's So Maven, this is one to add to your queue.

Repodcasting is a monthly show in which two cousins — Lucia and Janet — cast different actors in well-known Hollywood movies. If you ever wanted to reboot The Matrix with someone other than Keanu, this is the show for you. Also, in every show, they find a role for Tony Danza. Somebody has to. This show pairs nicely with I Have Some Notes.

There are more announcements to come, but four is plenty to absorb at once, so that's enough for now.

If you're wondering if your podcast would be a good fit for the network, check out our frequently asked questions page. If you apply, be patient, as it takes a while to listen and decide.

Stay up-to-date on what the network and its members are doing by following our social media. We're on Twitter and Facebook, and, thanks to the amazing Beverley Theresa, we have a much more active presence on Instagram.

If you prefer your updates in your inbox, subscribe to our newsletter. We'll give you an at-a-glance summary of what's going on every week.
