Alberta stories
You’ll find a rollicking discussion of Alberta politics on Daveberta, with special guests Lianne Bell and Chris Henderson joining Dave Cournoyer. Then, we apologize in advance for the hunger pangs these might cause, but it’s worth it to hear about the barbecue sauce and dips from Jordan's General Store on the Mess Hall Podcast, and Moose Shed BBQ on Eat More Barbecue.
Edmonton stories
Let’s get even more local. OtherWise offers Part 2 of Moréniké Ọláòșebìkan’s conversation with a variety of people of colour about finding a sense of belonging in Edmonton. Press Start to Join interviewed some Alberta game developers at Dark Matters at the Telus World of Science. Ed’s Shane Lawrence has a great discussion with a University of Alberta prof who studies evil and how to teach students about it. Politics-wise, City of Champions continues its city council spotlights with Coun. Andrew Knack, and watch for a new episode of Speaking Municipally, which we’ll add to the list when it comes in.

On Creative Block, Kyle Marshall has a great talk with Chris Taniguchi, the artist, animator and YouTuber who designed the cover art for all of Kyle’s APN shows. And on Girl Tries Life, Victoria Smith coaches you through the step you have to take if you’re going to commit yourself to self-care.

All of this is possible thanks to these fine folks, especially our founding sponsor, ATB. We’re also welcoming a new sponsor this week — The Alberta Blue Cross Wellness Summit.
