It’s A Conspiracy! digs into some Canadian facts with singer-songwriter Phyllis Sinclair. Press Start to Join talks free games, Cards Against Humanity’s scandals, and the possible revival of a cartoon from the 2000s. The Daveberta Podcast looks at the state of Alberta’s economy and the politics of oil in 2020 with environmental economist Andrew Leach. That’s a Thing?! closes out the school year with a mom-daughter-son review of graduation and education in general. And Speaking Municipally takes a look at a reversal on e-bikes, a non-reversal on school resource officers, and move toward affordable housing in Edmonton.

SPORTS

Hockey Feels straps on the skates again to look at the NHL’s possible return to play, new additions to the Hockey Hall of Fame, and the very strange outcome of the draft lottery. The 4th Line was so agitated about the draft lottery that they published early to fully capture Red Wings fan Nick’s anguish about not getting to pick first. And Loyal Company of the River Valley continues their retrospective look at the North American Soccer League with a focus on the 2014 and 2015 seasons.

I Don’t Get It caps off their podcast season with a breakdown of this year’s Sterling Awards, celebrating Edmonton’s shortened theatre season. The Machine selects Toy Story 2 for our heroes to ponder on Kyle & Dave vs The Machine. The Read-Along discusses Chapter 17 of Sophie Hannah’s Perfect Little Children. Repodcasting recasts the Tobey Maguire-led Spider-Man 3. Christine Chen from the Bottomless Broadway podcast joins Kyle to discuss the song “In Buddy’s Eyes” on Putting It Together. Eat More Barbecue sits down with Bryan Norton and Andrew Martinez, hosts of Tales From The Pits podcast out of Texas. Mess Hall Podcast tries a selection of honey-based goods and a mystery box from the Gummi Boutique.

LIFE & WORK
